Play is very important for all children, and play while at hospital is an important part of the overall treatment and getting well.
The Play Service consists of a team of Play Specialists, Play and Youth Workers and volunteers who provide educational and recreational support for children, young people and their families throughout the Trust.
We offer a wide variety of play-orientated activities and provide information for patients and their families about their treatment.
The service supports patients and families throughout their stay in hospital.
We are also able to work with children and young people experiencing difficulties before admission and following discharge.
