Pete Bill, Neurophysiologist
"As a neurophysiologist at Birmingham Children’s Hospital 99% of our time is spent working with brains investigating what’s going right and what’s going wrong, diagnosing conditions with complex challenges. You could be working in a theatre, or intensive care, at the Women’s Hospital looking at children not yet born or in our own neurophysiology clinic.
"We’re lucky here. We’re at the cutting edge of neurophysiology in terms of expertise and technology – a leader rather than a follower. And there is an ethos of commitment to research, teaching and training to make sure we are the best we can be. We are always searching for the reasons why and how this can help with diagnostics. It’s a great team, and I wouldn’t work anywhere else."
