I’m the Cleft Clinic Coordinator, and have been for 3 and a half years. I’m the one you phone if you need to see someone, can’t make an appointment etc., so if you’re reading this, I’ve probably met you in clinic. We have a weekly clinic day, so I book families in, deal with queries and send you to each of the staff you need to see, trying to reduce waiting times where possible. The rest of the time I’m in the office trying to keep up with demand. We’re a busy service and smaller than you might expect.
I’ve worked all over the place but came back to Cleft. I’ve worked in other hospitals, built a prison, manufactured beer coolers and done plenty of other things, but I like seeing the cleft families and it’s nice to see the kids growing up and developing!
When not at work, I’m often found working on our house, mountain biking and snowboarding.
