2014-2015: Consultant Paediatric Oncologist, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
2015-Present: Consultant Paediatric Neuro-Oncologist, Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Dr Adamski mainly looks after children with brain and spinal tumours, and teenagers and young adults monitored for late effects of cancer treatment in childhood. She can be seen on the Oncology and Neurosurgical wards and Oncology Clinic.
She is a member of the SIOP Europe Brain Tumour Group and is involved in the working groups for medulloblastoma and choroid plexus tumours, working towards European guidelines and protocols for the management of these patients. She is a member of the BCH’s Drug and Therapeutics Committee and the chemotherapy working group.
Dr Adamski is part of Professor Peet’s functional imaging group at our hospital and is an investigator in international trials of treatment for medulloblastoma and Ependymoma, the commonest malignant brain tumours of childhood.
