People A-Z

  • Helen Jackson

    Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist (OT),  I am interested in how you use your arms and hands in everyday life. For example, getting dressed, brushing your teeth, eating and handwriting.  I will also ask you about whether you need help at home,  such as getting into the bath, and whether any equipment might help you be more independent.

I will also want to make sure that your life outside hospital is meaningful, so will ask questions about how you get on at school, with your friends and how you spend your spare time.
